FPGA Prototyping Engineer

DESCRIPTION

NextSilicon is developing a pioneering architecture for a general-purpose coprocessor. We seek creative approaches to complex problems, and we need a qualified, experienced FPGA prototyping engineer for our verification team. In this role, you will develop innovative solutions from concept to implementation, working remotely some of the time.

REQUIREMENTS

B.Sc. or higher degree in Electronic Engineering from a leading institution
5+ years experience in RTL design and FPGA prototyping
5+ years experience with Xilinx or Altera platforms
Experience in using tools for creating and debugging an FPGA image
Familiarity with Linux environments
Scripting knowledge in Perl, Python, TCL, or similar languages
Knowledge of high-speed interfaces such as PCI and PCIe: advantage
Experience with Synopsys HAPS systems and Protocompiler: advantage
Experience in emulation systems such as Veloce: advantage
Experience in FE and BE ASIC design flows: advantage
Experience with hardware and board design: advantage
